Spinning Playlist 70's

Updated on October 12, 2013

70's Rock and Spin

These playlists are great for Spin or Cycle classes, but they also work on treadmills, stair machines, or just going for a run.

Playlists are 55 minutes max, including 2-3 minute warm-down song at the end. The songs in the playlist have an order. The energy builds from warm-up to Hi Intensity. Check out the class profile description below.

Class Profile

The Plan

The playlists are organized so the energy or beat of the music corresponds with the workout.

For example, the first two songs are for Warm-Up. They are a bit more mellow.

The next couple of songs have a slower but strong beat. This is the "Climb" part of the workout. Add resistance to the bike to make it seem like you are climbing a mountain. Adding resistance builds muscle strength, keeping ligaments and tendons strong.

The rest of the playlist has higher energy for interval sets. For example, 30 seconds fast followed by 30 seconds recovery.

The last song is for a cool down, to bring your heart rate back down to resting.
