Hold Everything! FINIS Swim Diapers.

Updated on October 31, 2013

"We have a Code 3 Alert. I repeat, we have a Code 3 Alert.

Please clear the pool and pool deck immediately."

At first, I thought there was some kind of nuclear waste leak in the general vicinity. My baby and I watched, bewildered, as swim instructors and pool managers with squinting eyes and serious faces converged on the pool. They were armed with long poled nets, large white bottles, power hoses and PH kits.

A dark brown log with matching pellets had been found floating in the swimming pool!

Someone had not purchased the correct baby swim diaper.

Tired mommies who had braved getting into a swim suit while juggling squirming, bouncing babies and toddlers were being asked to leave before the swim lesson was over. Arriving mommies laden with towels were turned away because the next lessons were canceled. Kids' complaints escalated as they were dragged back to the car screaming, "Why can't I get in? I WANT TO SWIM!"

The pool had to be disinfected. The process took at least 90 minutes.

Who did it?

Which parental unit was cowering with eyes lowered and trying to quickly exit the premises? The soapy crowd in the locker room wouldn't notice because they were aggressively scrubbing every inch of skin with disinfecting cleansers before getting dressed.

Avoid Code 3 Evacuations with the Finis Swim Diaper.

Baby swimsuits are are so darn cute. Some even look like they have a protective lining. Don't be fooled! The protective lining will not "hold" number 2. Swim diapers are mandatory under swimsuits in most pools for kids age 3 and younger- sometimes even age 4.

Yes... but your child was the toilet prodigy, potty trained at age 2. Swim diapers are STILL required because swim water and swimming pool excitement can really confuse a child's natural "potty signals".

It will happen and it is not your child's fault.

Proper Sizing Prevents Wardrobe Malfunction

SIMPLY PUT: The elastic around the tummy and the legs of your child's swim diaper should be nice and snug. All smart and thrifty mommies instinctively size up when buying baby clothes. Baby swim diapers are the exception. Remember, these are reusable. You will still save money by purchasing cloth swim diapers that fit. FINIS makes great swim products. Their swim diapers hold up forever even after multiple washings in hot water. The disposable swim diapers are much more expensive, and they are just horrible for the environment.

Babies Look Adorable in Bikini Bottoms

Show off those cute little bellies and chubby baby legs kicking and splashing in the water. Think French Riviera- baby style.
